Every now and then we go do something—like look for birds while hiking or go to a sporting event where we’re sitting in the nosebleed section—and the kids want to use the binoculars. But then they complain that they can’t get the focus right or otherwise can’t make them “work.” And by the time we manage to get them set up, whatever they wanted to see has already happened. (Kids are fun!)
So I’m digging the idea of something like these Bushnell Permafocus Binoculars, currently just under $20 and Prime eligible at Amazon. I do think the supposed original price of $75 is inflated, but this is still about half off what they cost anywhere else. And they’re lightweight and require no focusing—perfect for the kids.
This is a little more than I’d usually spend on a stocking stuffer, but I may make an exception.
Thank you! My daughter will love these for Christmas!
