It’s that time of year again—time for the Hanna Andersson Get What You Wish Sale! For the next few weeks, just about everything on the Hanna site is at least 20% off, with some savings reaching the 50% off mark. (I notice the “very güd” prices are untouched, but that’s because… umlauts never go on sale. Obviously.)
Is that still more than I usually spend on clothing for my rotten children? Yes. Yes, it is. But for a nice holiday outfit or other special item, I do occasionally splurge.
Hannas wear like iron, leaving me convinced that Swedish cotton is woven by pixies and imbued with magic. I don’t know how they do it, only that they do. Buy on sale and the kids can wear ’em, pass ’em down, and then you can resell for close to what you paid. Magic!
i have my bag filled and am waiting til nap time to pull the trigger.
If anyone is unsure about spending $20+ on a kid’s shirt, etc. let me tell you that my 5 year old is at the top of a 4 girl hand-me-down ladder and these clothes wear SO well.
The sizes magically last at least two seasons, even on my quick-growing size 8-10 giant of a 5 year old. We are receiving some of the 4-5 year old items for little sister and despite the hard wearing of two little girls before her, the clothes are still in remarkably good shape. Some faint stains and a slight bit of shrinkage, but no holes, no loose seams…
I heart Hannas. That said, I only EVER buy them during the 50% off sale, or at the outlet! lol. I have my limits!
4-5 year old, as in, the clothes are 4-5 years OLD, not 4-5 year old sized….make sense?
Yeah. Anyway: Hanna FTW!
Another vote for the unbelievable tough-ness that is Hannas. My fast-growing 4 year old is still wearing her Christmas jammas from two years ago. And they look practically new! I have no idea how they do it, but they do!
Oh! Oh! I have Swedish cuteness! Except my Swedish cuteness is my handsome and adorable husband. 🙂 One of his nicknames is the “Big Frickin’ Swede,” but that’s only because he’s so darn tall.
I LOVE Hannah’s sleepers. They are such great quality! I did buy them at Costco though!
I buy dresses huge and she wears them for years. YEARS. No signs of fading, shrinking. big fans.
