It’s like a blind trip the dollar store

I can’t help it—GraveyardMall just cracks me up. Today’s daily deals include mystery boxes of stocking stuffers for kids ages 6-12 (choose boy or girl) for $20 shipped. Each one will include 20 items, and it’s 100% guaranteed, meaning that if you’re not satisfied, they’ll take it back and refund your money (they cover shipping both ways, too).

On the one hand I feel like this is sort of dumb, but on the other, I feel like it’s kind of brilliant. If they ship quickly, this would be a great way to accumulate items for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, too, if you do those. I figure with the guarantee it’s not much of a gamble, so I may check it out.

  1. OK, I ordered it. Sounds like fun and maybe will give me some ideas for stockings. I am stuck in a rut and can’t seem to come up with any ideas yet besides star wars stuff anyways. Hope more of the stuff is for older boys.

  2. I ordered it too. I hope the girl box isn’t too girly. I almost bought a boy box as well but I thought that was too much risk. Although… there’s always the gift closet.

  3. I ordered it, too. I have 2 girls ages 4 & 6, so hopefully it will be stuff that I can use in both stockings. Otherwise, I can share it with the myriad other kids on my Christmas list. I’m … intrigued by this idea, so we’ll see how it goes. :}

  4. For those who try it, please report back! I was so tempted by this, but decided against it and would love to hear if people got good stuff or not.
