Color me slightly confused, but in popping over for my daily fix at 6pm.com this morning I discovered that one of their featured boutiques today is “Home for the Holidays.” And that’s comprised largely of things like wine glasses and cookware.
Now—don’t get me wrong!—I’m not complaining. Some of the stuff they have in there is gorgeous, and the prices are certainly right. Far be it from me to pooh-pooh a deal. But it’s just causing a wee bit of cognitive dissonance, because I was looking for boots.
But I guess you just never know when you’ll need a whisk or a pie plate to go with your boots, right? Right.
Shoes, pots and pans – brilliant marketing. I think.
