On a bicycle built for two

Happy new year! I hope no one is reading this, and you’re all out partying. (We are enjoying the last day of our vacation trip, plus celebrating both my son’s and my father’s upcoming birthdays; I am currently taking a break between kids-going-to-bed and second-round-of-wine.)

I’m absolutely in love with this Winther Mini Viking Pushbike for Two that’s currently down to just $35 shipped from Amazon (from seller Colossal Sales, as Amazon’s direct price is still $97). Such a cool little ride-on for siblings or friends, and clearly built like a tank.

Maybe it’s not an appropriate deal for New Year’s Eve, or maybe it is—maybe in 2012 you resolve to foster togetherness! In which case, there you go.

  1. That is so cute!

  2. I love how the recommended ages for the bike are 1-3 years, yet there is a *huge* banner across the middle of the page saying “Choking hazard: Not for children under 3” !!

  3. Happy New Year! I think this would be great for a couple of 1 yr old twins… alas, I don’t have them. 🙂

  4. It would have been great for my twins, I am tempted to still get it although they will be 5 in 10 days! They have a little double one with pedals and my 8 year old still loves to ride around on it even though it is way too small for him. Happy New Year pretty lady! have a safe trip ‘home’!
