Oh, Amazon is totally playing my song this morning. It’s a beautiful thing.

For those of you who haven’t nabbed it one of the previous times it appeared at this price, today’s Gold Box Deal is the Mel Brooks Collection on Blu-ray for $29. That’s a little over $3/movie for some of the greatest titles out there.

And if you have kiddos who are too young for proper Mel Brooks appreciation, don’t fret, Amazon’s got something awesome for them, too—right now they have the Star Wars: The Phantom Menace: The Expanded Visual Dictionary available in hardcover for just $2! That’s craziness. Those would be a sweet party favor instead of the typical bag-o-junk, if you were doing a Star Wars party. I have no idea why the price is so low, but this is a smoking deal.

Now, if you have the kind of kiddo who will sit and watch Blazing Saddles with you while thumbing through the Star Wars Dictionary? You’ve got it all. (I have one of those kids. He is awesome.)
