I know it’s heresy in some circles, but I always preferred Star Trek: The Next Generation to the original. I know. I know! But there it is; I’ve come clean at last.

So while purists may not understand my glee, I’m pretty stoked to see that Amazon is offering the Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection on Blu-ray for just $24.96, right now. That’s all four movies, five discs, for just a few bucks more than the DVD version. That’s an excellent value on Patrick Stewart yumminess geeky entertainment. Ahem.
