Right now Amazon has this 12-bin organizer available for $36.81, their lowest price ever. Personally I believe the bin organizer to be one of the greatest inventions of our time, much like sliced bread and maple bacon.
There’s an identical unit to this in my son’s room even now, and I know that I should replace it with something… I don’t know… older? But bins! They’re so easy! You say, “Please pick up” and they actually do, because you can just chuck things in bins and then you’re done. It’s magic. And even though I got his on sale (a really long time ago), I’m pretty sure I paid more than this.
These are great until your 3 and 2 year olds decide to dump everything out and use the bins for hats. Not that it ever happens here, or anything!
lol, mine do the same, except they use them as stools.

Mir, what if you simply paint the bins in his unit, maybe with chalkboard paint, then he can label each bin with whatever belongs in that bin? Just a thought on how to mature the unit.
