Not that it matters a bit to the deal — but I just had to say….I used to work for them. (In the dark ages.) Boston Proper was bought out by Chicos a few years back, but prior to that buy out, they were part of a catalog group in south Florida whose main brand was Mark, Fore, & Strike. When I was there, they had retail stores and a highly successful catalog — MFS specialized in resort wear for an older, wealthy crowd.
Anyway, I used to get Boston Proper items at cost (SWEET) and that made up much of my college wardrobe, when I wasn’t wearing PJs to class.
(We also sold Doney & Burke back in the day — and I had a few purses that I also was able to buy at cost.) Anyway, thanks for the blast from the past.
