Washi tape for the tween set

I don’t entirely understand the washi tape craze, but I full admit to being a not-very-crafty person. I use tape to… hold things together. Still! I know a hot fad when I see one.

I also know that real washi tape is kind of spendy, and that younger kids always want what the bigger kids have, and cheapskates like me are always looking for cheaper alternatives. Have a crafty girl at home for whom you’re not quite ready to shell out the big bucks for the fancy tape? Easy solution: this 30-spool Tapefitti caddy at Amazon for just $8! Cheap enough to work for you (and maybe for the gift closet, too), enough variety and color to keep her happily crafting. Win-win!

  1. Snapped that up as a holiday gift for my daughter. Thanks, Mir!

  2. Thanks, Mir! Another present done for my eight-year-old daughter. Only seventy-billion more to go. (Not really. But with five kids between 10 and 3, sometimes it feels that way.)

  3. Snapped up a few for Christmas and the gift closet. Score!
