Yesterday I got a big ole box (16x20x12), with about 10 airpak bubbles… for a micro plane zester.
It’s better than Office Depot. My husband found a deal on K-Cups there, so he ordered 9 boxes to stock up. So far, 6 of them have arrived. Each one in their own larger box with airpak bubbles, and shipped individually. They are REALLY losing money on this deal.
I got 2 CDs (yes, audio CD’s, my husband eschews MP3s) in a large box with airpak bubbles. From Amazon. Cardboard recycling is a good thing.
Amazon packaging is INSANE! I have been doing a fundraiser there “working” as a gift wrapper and the amount of paper and cardboard they waste is nuts. I had a box yesterday that was literally about 3 ft square and all that was in it was 1 cd (gift wrapped) and a small state flag on a stick. They used the giant box because the stick could barely fit if placed diagonally. The whole thing might have weighed a pound total including all the cardboard. It was crazy.
