Have a LEGO-lover in the house? I know this LEGO Ideas Exo Suit is supposed to be some sort of moon exploration get-up, but it reminds me of what Sigourney Weaver used to fight the aliens in Alien and I love it. The fact that this is a highly-rated set and about $10 cheaper than it’s ever been before is just frosting on the cake. (Pro tip: The rule of thumb for LEGO sets is that they tend to retail at about $.10 – $.15 per brick. Less than that and you’re getting a good deal. At 321 pieces for this set, $27 is a bargain.)
As a side note, I don’t know whether to be pleased that one of the included minifigs is clearly female, or annoyed that we’re supposed to believe she took a break from her astronaut duties to put on makeup. Best not to think too hard on that one, I think.
