LEGO Minecraft, plus a couple of heads ups

The main reason for this post is to note that the LEGO Minecraft The End Portal set has dropped to $33.59 at Amazon (its lowest price so far). We have outgrown these sets ’round here, but if you haven’t, that’s a pretty good deal on a 559-piece set.

Two other things to keep an eye on at Amazon:

First: They’ve brought back the “Spend $100+ on toys, get this year’s plush Amazon Gund bear for free” promotion, and I always liked that because it was an easy way to pick up something nice for Toys For Tots. Just make sure to put the bear in your cart when you’re making your purchase.

Second: They’ve also brought back the “Spend $25+ on books and get $10 off” promo, which is arguably even better. (It’s worth less than the bear, true, but books!) Just use coupon code HOLIDAYBOOK, or review the full terms of the offer here.

Third: There is no third, because I said “a couple.” But I have now been up/at the computer for 12 hours and I’m not gonna lie, I’m getting a little punchy.

  1. Thanks for the book code! I just bought gifts, and, not gonna lie, “Scream Free Parenting” b/c tweets.

  2. Indeed… thanks for this code. Because we don’t *need* the illustrated Harry Potter, at $24 a pop when we already own the whole paperback set, but my youngest is now reading it and put it on his ‘something to read’ portion of his Christmas Wish List. This is a score for that alone.
