If you’re like me, you keep a running roster of items in your “Save For Later” Amazon cart. I do this for Add-Ons, for items whose prices I want to track, or just bigger purchases where I’m not quite ready to pull the trigger. If you have a cart of items waiting—or if you’ve just got some shopping to do—today (Wednesday, February 22nd) is the day to save a little more. According to their site:
Customers just voted Amazon #1 in corporate reputation. To say thank you, we’re taking $8.62 off your purchase of $50 or more, today only. Enter code BIGTHANKS at checkout.
(Of particular note to me, a former New Yorker, is that Amazon’s 86.27 ranking in the Harris Poll is higher than Wegmans’ rating. Wegmans is where everything wonderful happens, so good on Amazon.)
The fine print: It has to be a total of $50+ on items sold directly from Amazon, and you can’t use it on digital content, video games, or gift cards. Honestly, I can spend $50 at Amazon on just a few basics—dog food, toothpaste, and a few snacks—but that may just be me. Regardless, the code is good today only, so get on it.
Thanks! I was about to order something anyway, and while I had to juggle a bit to get only Amazon-sold items, it’s worth it! (Funny thing, one of the items I added won’t ship for one to two months, but it works for them anyway.)
ah… cleaning out my “Save For Later” feels so good that it’s practically like cleaning out a closet. LOL.
You can use on non Amazon gift cards- it worked for me on a multipack of Panera gift cards.
