I recently discovered Groupon keeps as much as 50% of the price for their take. For many of the ‘deals’ your purchase, contact the location (restaurant/spa/etc) directly and they will match the Groupon price. Allowing the little guy a bigger ‘cut’ than they would receive via Groupon. That’s here in Colorado Springs, not sure about other locations.
