I’m not the sort of person who’s ever going to pay $150 apiece for barstools, but if I was going to, I would definitely buy these.

This is apparently a pretty nice serger for a good price, but you’re talking to someone who sometimes injures herself while sewing buttons back on, so I may not be your best source for this sort of thing.

This isn’t the lowest I’ve ever seen Huggies on sale (and there are more Huggies here), but it’s a pretty good price and they deliver to your doorstep for free, which is hard to beat.

The cabbage bowls made me smile in nostalgia–the family I nannied for had salad bowls made of translucent glass that looked like lettuce/cabbage leaves. I was told to make sure that they were stem side down (toward the person) when I set the table. They were cute, but I’m not sure I’d get them for myself, even at that price.
Call me crazy but I think those cabbage bowls are sort of fun.
I have the Scooba and i LOVE it. I only use it on my kitchen floor which isn’t that large, but it is great. Cleans, washes and dries all at once. Easy to use and clean. I love seeing how dirty the water is when it’s finished and i pour it out. 🙂 It was an extravegant purchase but so worth it when I can turn it on and just walk away knowing my floor will be clean when i return.
My scooba is fantastic! I have a clawfoot bathtub and it cleans underneath it while I lean against the doorjamb quaffing mimosas.
Wish I could quaff mimosas… but I’m pregnant. Six more months…

So there are better deals to be had on Amazon, if you’re not huggies-specific.
I bought a refurbished Scooba from a Friday sale a month or so ago. I LOVE it. My husband is SHOCKED at how well it works. I highly recommend it.
i bought a scooba….and returned it. our entire house is hardwood floors, so anything that would make mopping easier was worth a try. scooba did a decent job of mopping…didn’t get the corners or anything really stuck on….not that i have anything really “stuck on” in my house. 😉 anyway, by the time i got scooba ready to go and then clean it out afterwards, i could have pulled out a mop and done the corners too. the cleaning out afterwards is what took a while. also, we have an open floor plan….very few walls or doorways to keep scooba in one area. so i had to spend some time setting up barricades to confine scooba to one area. yes, we got a couple of those invisible beam things, but we would need too many. if you have smallish sized rooms that have actual walls, it could be ok.
imho, the best solution was to teach my children how to mop. we all clean up spills as soon as they happen which makes mopping much easier. now it is the children’s job to mop on a regular basis.
I didn’t think the Scooba took a lot of time to set up or clean. You just dump the solution and some water in the clean department, press the button and off it goes. I found clean up to be simple too. It takes maybe 5 minutes to take out the filter, vacuum thing and the roller and rinse them all off in the sink. Plus, while it’s cleaning you have all sorts of time to do other things.

Amazon can be scary. Now every time I look something up it shows me the cabbage bowls and the matching chip/dip serving dish. I can’t decide if they’re just strange or so kitchy they’re cute.
Thanks for the heads up on the Kitchen Aid mixer. Mine came today and I’m in love! I didn’t get a blue one because it doesn’t match my kitchen (yeah, I’m neurotic like that) but I love it anyway. 🙂
