As if the Friday Sale wasn’t enough, it turns out they’re also having their Spring Toy Clearance today.
They have—amongst other things—five pages of deeply discounted games. My fingers are all twitchy. (I love games we can all play together without me feeling the urge to either kill the children or myself. I am looking at you, Candyland.)
I highly recommend the Razor Pocket Mod Scooter! we got it for my son for his 9th birthday…he really wanted one of the razor motorcycles but they all said 12 and up and I just didn’t like how you sit ont hem (looked really dangerous to me!) anyway, the pocket mod says 12 and up too but you’re sitting upright and it’s just bigger. it’s a lot of fun and the weight limit is high enough that even I can ride it (so you know it must be high!) and his 8 year old brother rides it too! it was such a hit in our neighborhood that two other kids got one also.
and who can resist the Eisenhower Talking Action Figure?
I am totally coveting the Moses talking action figure. Uh-oh. “Thou shall not covet.” That’s one of his big no-nos isn’t it? Busted…
I know my girls love Disney Princesses (and Pirates, too) – but Princess batteries???
Some of the stuff is making me twitch, though. I’m a sucker for games and anything that might be edumacational
Wow – I’ve bought Plan Toys for my kids and as gifts because they are simply beautiful. All of their stuff is really simple, old-fashioned high-quality wood toys. The prices on the Plan Toys in this sale are PHENOMENAL. I’m going to order multiples to have on hand for gifts.
Does anyone have the Scuttle Bug trike? I’ve been thinking about one of these for my almost 4 yo. He’s sort of outgrowing the trike he’s been riding. If you have it, please share your opinion of it.
I happened to have a gift certificate for Amazon, so I totally loaded up on the wooden toys — the Little Tykes shape sorter, the castle, the shape boat, etc. I am such a sucker for classic, wooden toys! They even qualified for the free shipping, which I didn’t expect. So I got 5 wooden toys for $32, however because I had the gift cert., I didn’t ‘pay’ a thing! WHOOHOO! Thanks!
