I’m old—ancient, really—so I remember when Polly Pockets actually came in tiny little carrying containers. I had one that was a necklace charm; when you got bored, you could take the doll out of the necklace and play with her.

Today’s Polly Pockets are basically just smaller Barbies, but I forgive them because at least Polly doesn’t have enormous boobs. Anyway! Right now Amazon is offering 40% off tons of popular Polly sets, and if you have kids who love Polly as much as mine did, it might be something you want to check out. (Notice I said “kids,” not “girls.” My son loved Polly, too. Much to his sister’s chagrin.)
