No, we still don’t have a Wii. Yes, I’m still a little bit bitter about that. (Truth: Every time I start thinking it’s a good idea, I can’t find one. And every time I find one I’ve managed to convince myself we don’t need one.)
I keep an eye on the Wii game deals, though. Because I care. And I’m hoping you’ll invite me over to play.
Anyway, right now Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii is just $39.99 at Amazon; a good $10 cheaper than I’ve seen it anywhere else. But it gets better, because if you order by June 26th, 2008, you’ll also get a $10 Amazon gift card with your purchase.
And I promise to help you figure out what to spend it on.
A benefit of living in the middle of nowhere once the college kids go home is the surplus of Wii’s at the Walmart. I’ve been eyeing them myself for a family Christmas present. There are currently 6 of them on the shelves here. If I had more drive I’d sell them on eBay!
Mir, You really do need a Wii…so much fun. And Wii Fit…tons of fun, but I’m still not skinny.
Amazon says this is rated Teen…do you think it’s okay for my 9 year old?
Karla: The local Wii reviewer (aka our 11-yr-old neighbor who thinks he’s 30) recently “advised” me that Brawl was a bit violent for little kids, and should be reserved for at least until they are 10.
Take that one for what it’s worth. 🙂
