Everything went smoothly this weekend, so at this point the site should be… well, pretty much exactly the same, but hopefully a little faster. Yay!
Here’s a deal to kick off your week: Right now Amazon is offering one year of Wired All Access (that is, both the print version of the magazine and digital access) for just $5. That’s 96% off! I happen to enjoy Wired, anyway, but it’s one of the magazines we often buy to use for our vision board projects because they have all kinds of funky graphics. Even if you use it to line animal cages, it’s hard to beat 96% off the cover price.
The only thing to bear in mind is that this is an “auto-renewal,” which means that they’re hoping you’ll forget about it and end up renewing at the normal price. Don’t do that! Once you make your purchase, set a reminder for yourself to go into your Magazine Subscription Manager (bookmark it; it can be a little tricky to find, later) anywhere from a week to up to a year later to turn off the auto-renewal. That’s it! Very simple, and you save big without getting stuck, later.
You DID load much faster on my Kindle!
