Magazine deals for your Monday
There’s always a few people on your list who are impossible to buy for, and those are the people for whom magazine subscriptions were invented. If you have several such folks on your list—or just need some renewals on your own mags—don’t miss today’s Cyber Monday extravaganza over at DiscountMags: they’re offering a ton of magazines at your choice of 3 for $13 or 5 for $18! That’s a whole year of entertainment for under $4/subscription, and you needn’t tell the recipients you got such a good deal. It can be our little secret.
Heck, at these prices it’s probably cheaper for me to just get subscriptions to the magazines I often go pick up single issues of to make our year-end vision board collages. They don’t have O Magazine on this special (my favorite for collage pictures), but they do have Good Housekeeping, Dwell, Wired, and plenty of other goodies. I’m off to shop.
It’s a Cyber Monday Woot-Off
Sheesh, I’m barely recovered from Friday’s Woot-Off (I don’t often do a ton of shopping during those, though I always look, but on Friday let’s just say I got lucky a few times) (shopping, that is), and today there’s another round. They’re Wooting Off all day long at Woot, Home.Woot, Tools.Woot, Sport.Woot, Shirt.Woot, Kids.Woot, Wine.Woot, and Sellout.Woot.
Deals galore, but you have to stay on top of ’em or you might miss out. Still, do your price comparisons; some of the deals are unbelievable, some are just so-so. As always, make informed purchases. (Or, as I’m wont to yell after my darling children, “Make good choices!”)
Start Cyber Monday with some coffee
Goooood morning! Ready to hit Cyber Monday? Why not start over at Starbucks? Unfortunately you can’t use this on gift cards (how great would that be?), but if you’re in the market for beans or other gifts they offer (and it’s more than you might think; they carry a ton of music CDs, for example), today they’ll take $25 off your $60+ order, automatically, plus you’ll get free shipping on $60+.
If you’ve got a ton of Starbucks addicts on your list, they have a “create your own ornament” for $6.95 that’s a little Starbucks cup and a pen. You could have a lot of laughs with that one….
Hoping for a Cyber Monday Kindle deal?
It looks like Amazon is doing a little early treat for us… starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern tonight, you can get $50 off the Kindle HDX! Instead of $229, you’ll be able to snag it for $179. It’s unclear how long the deal will last, so I’d plan on pouncing early if you want in.
Let’s hope this isn’t one of those flash things where it’s over before you even get a chance to click….
[Thanks, Brittany!]
Cyber Monday is on at Macy’s (already)
Don’t feel like waiting until tomorrow to shop? You don’t have to—Macy’s has already released their Cyber Monday specials online, and you’ve got two days to shop the specials and reap the rewards. Plus you can take up to an extra 15% off and get free shipping on $75+ with coupon code CYBER.
I’m seeing deals on everything from clothing to kitchenware to furniture. If you need it, they probably have it (on sale).
Make your own soda, plus bonuses
Been eyeing a SodaStream machine for the holidays? I’m not a huge soda person, but if you’re going to drink it, you may as well make your own. Right now Amazon is running a SodaStream bonus offer where you can get 4 free soda mixes and a $25 promotional credit when you buy a Jet Starter Kit. This one is just $62.87, so after the promotional credit and the freebies, it’s like you’re only paying $18! Crazy.
If you’ve been on the fence, I bet this deal will be enough to help you decide.
Round out your stocking stuffers at Avon
I don’t know about you, but I’m just about shopped out. Still, maybe just a quick peek over at Avon is in order, just to grab a few stocking stuffers, you know, while I’m there.
Use coupon code CODEBLACK for free shipping on any order. Perfect for all the little things you love.
One more (because my daughter made me)
How could I have nearly missed 50% off and free shipping at Delia’s today? My kid may never forgive me. But possibly by posting now, I’ve redeemed myself.
Just use coupon code BIG50 for the rest of the day. You could be your teenager’s favorite for, like, five whole minutes.
Say goodbye to winter skin
Okay, maybe it’s not a typical Black Friday deal—and I’m not necessarily advocating giving your kids a big bottle of lotion for Christmas, or anything—but today Amazon is offering an additional 40% off Nivea, Eucerin, and Aquaphor products. The discount will show up in your cart at checkout, and that’s on top of any discount you get if you order via Subscribe & Save.
There’s lotions, diaper creams, body washes… everything you need to keep your skin nice and soft. (Feel free to insert your own “it puts the lotion on its skin” joke here.)
Black Friday at the Gap stores
I don’t know how I got to the middle of the afternoon without checking over at the Gap sites, but somehow that’s how it ended up. Here’s the rundown:
At Old Navy, everything’s on sale, plus there’s all kinds of special values, and you don’t need a coupon code.
At Gap, you can use coupon code BLKFRIDAY for 50% off full-price items, plus there’s tons of stuff already on sale.
At Banana Republic, coupon code BRGIVING takes 40% off just about everything.
At Piperlime, coupon code GIFT takes 25% off, plus there’s 40% off Final Clearance items.
And finally, over at Athleta, coupon code FIT20 takes 20% off nearly everything.
Remember, all five stores share a cart, so get your total up to $50 across all of them (or order anything from Piperlime), and your order ships for free.
