I’m dreaming of a getaway…

If you’re in need of luggage (or purses, or backpacks), today’s the day to shop over at eBags, because everything is at least 20% off. Spend $49+ and you’ll get free shipping, too.

I’ve been wanting a set of packing cubes because I’m just that OCD about packing, but haven’t quite been willing to spend the money. But they have tons of sets available right now for up to 60% off, which means maybe I can justify indulging my neuroses.

Black Friday Groupon bonuses!

Not only are there a zillion good deals going on over at Groupon today, just for visiting the site and logging in, you’ll get bonus money to use towards any deal today only!

I only got $2 (though, hey, free money is free money), but I hear some folks are getting more. Just go check it out, see what you get, and then see if there’s a deal you can’t live without. (I’m eying these mustache bowls because they make me laugh.)

The softest clothes for little ones, now 60% off

I know I’ve waxed poetic here a bunch of times about how great Soft Clothing is—both of my kids have sensory issues, and when they were still small enough to fit into Soft’s stuff, everyone was happy. No tags, flat seams, and buttery soft cotton. Their prices are excellent, already (compared to, say, Hanna Andersson), but for the whole weekend you can shop and take 60% off your order and get free shipping when you apply coupon code cyberweekend.

One of these days they’re going to start making sizes bigger than 12, and then I’ll be able to shop there again. (Hint, hint. Hey Soft—call me!)

Make your teens happy

Black Friday is the perfect time to stock up on the clothes your teens love, at prices you can stomach. Two of my kids’ favorites are having good sales today:

At American Eagle, today you get 40% off everything plus free shipping when you use coupon code 50F13311. This is one of the few stores that actually carries a men’s jean that’s roughly equivalent to a 16 slim (moms of skinny runts, unite!), so I like them in spite of myself.

Alternatively, hit up Aeropostale for 60% off everything, but you’ll have to get to $75+ for free shipping, there. (Discounts as marked.) Plus, spend $100+ and you’ll get a free pair of Skull Candy headphones.

A happy teen is a compliant teen, and I’m not above bribery (especially at these prices).

Update: 6pm coupon code!

I guess I was too sleepy early this morning when I posted the deals at 6pm; turns out you can use one of their rare coupon codes, too! Just apply 6PMTW1129131053 for an additional 10% off.

There’s usually a limit on the number of uses for their coupons, but my guess is that it’ll be working for at least a few hours more. Go shop!

Best bang-for-your-LEGO-buck: King’s Castle

If you’re looking for a good deal on a biggish LEGO set (and didn’t find it at LEGO Shop), may I suggest the 996-piece King’s Castle set? Lots of pieces and details, and currently at an all-time-low price of $69.99 shipped from Amazon.

There was a time (when my kids were small) when I would’ve blanched at the thought of forking over $70 for a set of plastic bricks. Now that I’m older, wiser, and poorer, I know that’s actually getting off cheap.

Black Friday deals galore at Tanga

So today Tanga has a special “Black Friday” tab with all kinds of sales under it. Looks like all of their t-shirts are currently $7.99 with free shipping and a free magazine subscription, and I really don’t care about the magazine, but I do love their shirts.

For example, I clearly need the “I like pig butts & I cannot lie” one, because I am a 10-year-old boy. And my oldest needs the “I have OCD & ADD, so everything has to be perfect (but not for very long)” one, obviously. I mean, they have other stuff, too, but the shirts!

BRB, I have some shopping to do….

These are the droids you’re looking for

If you’ve got a hardcore Star Wars geek on your hands, don’t miss this special at Amazon—they’ve got the exclusive Star Wars Legacy Collection Droid Factory Action Figure 6-Pack available for just $30 right now. That’s just $5/figure! And each of them comes with a part to build a seventh: Jabba the Hutt’s Protocol Droid figure. (Almost nothing in the preceding paragraph made any sense to me. Other than the “sale” part.)

I don’t understand the big deal, personally, but this is the lowest price ever, and if you need some droids, this seems like a cost-effective way to round out your collection.

Leggo my sale LEGO

If you’ve been waiting on a LEGO deal, today may be the day: Visit The LEGO Shop this weekend and get free shipping on any size order, plus they’ve just restocked the Sale section.

Spend $99+ and you’ll also get an exclusive Holiday Set. Spend $149, and you’ll get the bonus set as well as a $10 LEGO gift card.

If your kiddo is into the Chima line, there’s a lot of those sets on sale, in particular.

If you love the hunt…

… then obviously you’re watching today’s Amazon Lightning Deals like a hawk, right? As I’ve been up working in the wee hours here, talking to myself (hello? anyone out there?), they’ve had some amazing deals go by. That’s definitely going to be the timer to stalk, today.

But! They’re also doing rotating deals today at the Sell-Off at 1Saleaday, plus they’re Wooting Off over at Woot, Home.Woot, Tools.Woot, Sport.Woot, Kids.Woot, and Wine.Woot (motto: only sometimes actual wine).

Also, there’s a Wil Wheaton Sale over at Shirt.Woot. I am pretty much just going to hand my son his “something to wear” Christmas present with a tag that says, “Love, Wil Wheaton.” Perhaps the saddest part is that at not quite 14, this will be tremendously exciting to him. Nerds, y’all. Gotta love ’em.
