Free shipping on funny favorites
Not that their shipping was expensive to begin with—$2/shirt is hardly a deal-breaker—but hey, save it when you can, right? Today and tomorrow, shop LOLShirts and shipping is absolutely free when you use coupon code SAVEONSHIP. There’s an assortment of shirts at just $5.99, plus their regular goodies.
This may be my favorite: Their suggestion for a Halloween costume is that you buy their tuxedo shirt and add a sign that says “I’m sorry.” Then you go as… a formal apology! Ha!!
Hey, it’s early and I’m easily amused.
Express yourself
When you want personalized paper products, you want to head over to Expressionery. And when you want those products for free, you check with me, first. Right now you can apply coupon code TENSPEND to get $10 off your order of $10+, plus free shipping! You will have to pay sales tax on the pre-coupon amount, but still. That’s quite a deal.
Looking for something that’s exactly $10? You can get 20 personalized gift tags! Address labels start at $14, so that’s a cheap option, too.
Or go ahead and get your holiday cards done at a savings, you advance planner, you.
Finish the dishes on the cheap (again)
If you snagged this deal the last time ’round, it may be just about time to order once again: Amazon is offering a $2.15 clippable coupon on Finish dishwashing tabs, and although the coupon page makes it look like it only works on the Quantum variety, it also works on, say, this 32-count Fresh Scent tabs pack, making it crazy cheap when you buy via Subscribe & Save and have 5+ subscriptions for the month.
The last time I got in on a couple of Finish deals I swore it would last us the rest of the year, but weirdly enough, the children keep eating (and making dirty dishes), and we’re running low. Well, I’m restocked, now.
Don’t forget your furry (or feathered) friends!
Today (Thursday, October 3rd, 2013) only, you can get free shipping on your order at Petco with coupon code octoberfree, plus everything is at least 20% off. Some exclusions apply—you can’t use it on kitty litter, for example—but you can use it on food, so that’s a rare and useful discount.
I’m also seeing things like half-price dog crates with free shipping. You know I went straight for the heavy stuff to maximize the coupon value….
Get some savings with your nostalgia
Remember when Radio Shack was the place to get all of the latest electronics, back in the Stone Age before online shopping? (Ha!) They still have all sorts of great stuff, but if you’re like me, you sometimes forget about them in favor of some of the larger online retailers.
Here’s something to help bring you back to them—right now you can shop the Shack and use coupon code SAVOCT13 to take an extra $20 off your qualifying purchase of $125+ and get free shipping. Some exclusions apply, but I checked it on a few items from their weekly ad… they’ve got the Garmin Forerunner 10 GPS watch for $130, so it’s $110 after coupon (still $129 at Amazon, for comparison), which is a nice deal.
Who knows, maybe you can knock an item or two off your holiday list. Worth a look.
Don’t forget to Get More!
If you’re a Discover Card devotee, like me, have a little early holiday gift from them—right now you can sign up to get an additional bonus on online shopping from now through the end of December. That means you could pocket up to an extra $75 just for doing exactly what you’d be doing, anyway.
I smell a White Elephant
I don’t know why this strikes me as so hilarious, right now, but did you know that you can get Febreze Car Vent Air Fresheners in “New Car” scent? That just makes me giggle, for some reason.
The price is no laughing matter, though—right now that two-pack is marked down to $4.94 with an available $1 coupon to clip mid-page, plus you can save even more by purchasing via Subscribe & Save (if you have Amazon Mom and 5+ subscriptions, your total will be just $2.95). I’m picturing this will some fuzzy dice as that perfect White Elephant gift, or maybe it’d be a good stocking stuffer for someone with an older car.
Or maybe you just really want your car to smell like New Car again. That’s cool. I don’t judge.
There’s no sale like a Flash Sale
If you love Coldwater Creek, this one’s for you—they’re having a 36-hour Flash Sale in the Outlet right now. Everything is at least 60% off, with hundreds of items in excess of 80% off!
While you’re doing a little shopping for yourself, don’t forget that they have loads of great accessories and home items that might make good gifts this holiday season.
Spend $100+ and your shipping is free, plus if you spend that much, you can use coupon code NWX6839 to save an additional $30. Between the coupon and the codes, you could really clean up.
Cyber Monday to close out September
I’m a little bit wary of supposed holiday events starting this early (for pete’s sake, we haven’t even had Halloween yet…), but today Target is doing a “Cyber Monday” event. There’s some decent deals to be had—check out the “Buy 1 Get 1 30% off” toys, because that includes the much-coveted LEGO Minecraft sets!—but the best part is that if you spend $75+, you get a $10 gift card back. (And most purchases are included in the spend $50, get free shipping promo.)
[Edited to add: Their deal on the Canon PowerShot A2600 for $90 is pretty sweet, too. Amazon’s price is holding steady at $110, and the ratings on that model are good.]
I don’t know about you, but pretty much every time I step foot in a Target store (or venture onto their website), I spend at least that much. Why not get $10 back?
The deals are good for today only, so get on over there if you want in on it.
Not glamorous, but a sale’s a sale
The only thing less exciting than a sale on tampons would probably be… I don’t know… a sale on hemorrhoid cream? A sale on cream for jock itch? I don’t really want to think about it, frankly. But yes, we’d all rather buy pretty shoes, sure, but sometimes a deal on something you need is good, too.
So! Right now Amazon has this two-pack of Tampax Pearl 36-count Super available for $8.79, or under $4.50/box, which is already a great price. But there’s a $1.50 coupon to clip, mid-page, plus you can get an additional discount by buying via Subscribe & Save. Heck, if you have Amazon Mom and 5+ subscriptions, it comes to $5.53 for 72 tampons, or under $.08/each! Crazy cheap.
