More shoes make it all better

Okay, maybe shoes don’t make it all better—I am really, really wishing it did—but I am willing to keep trying until it works. I’m persistent like that.

Today and tomorrow (October 1st and 2nd), you can shop at Piperlime and take 20% off your purchase with coupon code THANKYOU. I’m not sure why they’re thanking you, but I say we just go with it.

Should shoes not be your thing (in which case, why are you here?), you can also use the THANKYOU code at Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy today and tomorrow for 30% off your purchases there.

Or just do both, because why not get something pretty to go with your new shoes?

Robots disguised as big savings

It’s never too early to start shopping for the holidays, you know, and right now if you have a Transformers freak, I’ve got a great way for you to start: Amazon has both Bumblebee and Optimus Prime rescue bots available for just $11.99—already a decent price—with a $5 coupon you can clip on the page, making them just $7 apiece.

Personally, I always hated Transformers, because I could never fold them back down after they’d been transformed. My life is hard.

Today’s the day for The Webster

Remember back when Target was just, well, Target? Fancier than, say, Walmart, but not a place where you went to get designer clothes? Yeah, me neither. But I hear it used to be less cool.

Anyway! As part of today’s Daily Deals, Target is offering free shipping and an extra 10% off all The Webster clearance items. And some of those items are super-cute. Choose from everything from dresses to bathing suits, many of which are already 60% of more off their original prices, and then get that extra 10% off and ship ’em for free.

I doubt I’ll ever be a “rush to Target for the premiere of their new line” kind of gal, but I’m happy to scoop up these markdowns. Heh.

Never run out of TP

I know I posted one of these recently, but maybe you’ve run out or maybe you just really enjoy stocking up on bathroom tissue. I don’t judge!

Right now Amazon has 48 double rolls of Angel Soft toilet paper available for just $22.63, plus there’s a $1 coupon you can clip if you’re eligible for Amazon coupons. Ships for free with Prime, or on $25+ with Super Saver Shipping.

And then if you need paper towels, too, they’ve got 20 giant rolls of Sparkle Pick-A-Size for $21.70, with a $1 coupon available.

It’s all the paper goods you need without even having to haul them home! Plus the boxes are good for your dog to play with, if your dog is into that sort of thing. Or just to put your dog in to confuse her. Not that I am admitting anything.

Even deeper discounts at Mamasource

If you’ve been considering a purchase from the great deals available over at Mamasource this week, I’ve got a little extra incentive for you: Today and tomorrow only, you can use coupon code SEP2012 to take an additional 20% off their already-low discounted prices.

So that means… a stylish diaper clutch for under $10. Or a Halloween LED light safety pack for just $16. Or a subscription to Garden and Gun magazine for just $8. And there’s other deals, too, of course. Might be worth checking out.

Friends & Family time at Lands’ End

It feels like they’ve had a ton of coupons lately, but it’s not like I’m going to complain. Now through October 2nd, join the Lands’ End family and save big—coupon code FRIENDLY combined with PIN 2702 will take 30% off your order, plus give you free shipping. This excludes “Buy More and Save” pricing and “other items as marked,” but I’m not seeing other exclusions. Maybe I haven’t been looking at anything expensive enough.

And now I’m off to see what’s been added to the Sale section since the last coupon….

Smoosh down your storage

I’ve never been much of a fan of the various “As Seen on TV!” products, but I’ll confess to being intrigued by the various “vacuum bag” storage options where they put an entire king-size bed’s worth of bedding into a bag and then voila! the whole thing ends up the size of a dinner plate. (Okay, I may be exaggerating slightly. But only slightly!)

Today Amazon has this 10-pack of vacuum storage bags for just $14.99, plus there are some special offers going on where it looks like they should be taking off another couple of bucks (though I am having some trouble getting that to work in my cart). Either way, that’s seems like a pretty awesome price for these storage bags.

For your favorite new college student

I hear that there’s this thing that happens—and I don’t know if it’s a myth or not—wherein the creatures who beg you for food and attention eventually move out on their own and only beg for food and attention via text message. Is this true? It seems hard to imagine.

Assuming it does occasionally happen, you might want to take a look at this adorable little book: How Do You Work This Life Thing?: Advice for the Newly Independent on Roommates, Jobs, Sex, and Everything That Counts, a book by Emily Post’s great-great-granddaughter designed to help young adults figure out… everything.

It’s currently under $5, and would make a nice little “I was thinking of you and hoping you’re making good choices” gift to your recently-flown-from-the-nest little birdie.

Wednesday? Kohlsday!

Mid-week can feel like mid-slog, but only if you’re not a Kohls addict. Heh.

If you are a Kohls devotee, though, please come sit next to me. Today’s the days for doorbusters and a “Grand Opening Sale” (I wonder where they’re opening a new store—maybe on Mars, because they’re already everywhere else), plus coupons and bonuses.

Here’s the rundown: Everyone gets $10 of Kohls Cash for every $50 spent, and everyone automatically gets free shipping on their $50+ order. Even better, everyone can use coupon code FALLFUN for an additional 15% off. But if you have a Kohls charge card, it’s even better: Use coupon code LEAVES30 for an additional 30% off your order, and stack that with code SHIP2MEFREE for free shipping on any size order.

And just like that, Wednesday rocks.

It’s beginning to smell a lot like… pumpkin?

Love pumpkin? Love Bath & Body Works? Today’s your lucky day—for one day only (today, Wednesday, September 26th), shop the Signature Collection and when you buy 3, you’ll get 3 free… and on top of that, spend $25+ (easy with the B3G3) and you can use coupon code PUMPKINGIFT for $1 shipping and a free pumpkin candle in a gift bag.

Of course, you don’t have to shop the Signature Collection. There’s also deals on Wallflowers, mini-candles, and antibacterial soaps. It’s up to you.

Smells like fall savings, to me.
