Black Friday at Eddie Bauer
Well, I just finished shopping for the husband: Today at Eddie Bauer you can take 30% off of everything and get free shipping on your $49+ order with coupon code GOBBLE.
Regular readers know I love Eddie Bauer’s quality, anyway, and then of course they sealed the deal by 1) always having Talls for my husband and 2) making a fit of pants that actually works for me. Eddie is like my not-so-secret boyfriend.
Of course, when I think about how I was just shopping there (with my secret boyfriend) for my husband, things get a little awkward. It’s complicated in my head.
Is that an Angry Bird on your head?
It’s possible I’m starting to get a little punchy (having already been up for six hours and on roughly my eleven billionth cup of coffee…), but Tanga has a red Angry Birds hat for sale today that is making me giggle uncontrollably.
Click through to that deal and they’ll also offer you a “related” deal for sock monkey hats, but I think the angry red bird probably wins.
Black Friday at Lovesac
Because I am secretly a 10-year-old boy, I have to tell you that I find Lovesac to be rather unfortunately named. Ahem. But I’m told their furniture is incredibly comfortable, and makes people wonder how they ever sat on a plain ol’ beanbag.
Today they have a slew of half-off specials for Black Friday, and it looks like shipping is free as well. The icing on the cake? Use coupon code LOVE for an additional 10% off. Their stuff isn’t cheap, but if you’d been planning a purchase anyway, this is the time to buy.
20% off iTunes at Best Buy
Don’t miss your chance to get $100 worth of iTunes cards at Best Buy for just $80 delivered—that’s money you’d end up spending anyway, only now you get to save.
(That link takes you to a $100 card, by the way, but by checking out the promotional link you can opt for 2 $50 cards, if you’d rather.)
If you have a teen, like I do, this is pretty much all they ever want, anyway. May as well save the $20!
LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0: Lowest price ever
Whoa, the Amazon deities are apparently feeling very generous today. You may remember that I posted a deal on the LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit a few weeks back when it dipped to $240—previously the lowest price they’d ever had it at—but today it’s down to just $219!
That’s the lowest price I’ve ever seen it. Craziness.
Again, this is not a set for “a kid who likes LEGO.” This is a serious programming kit for those interested in robotics. But if you’re in the market for it, I can’t imagine we’ll see it any lower before the holidays.
Rocket blender under $10
You know how prices go at Amazon—this could shoot back up in price the moment I hit “publish”—but right now Amazon has the Bella Cucina 12-piece rocket blender set available for just $9.99 with free Prime shipping. That’s… crazy.
I have a KitchenAid blender I absolutely adore, but for letting the kids make their own smoothies, I may just go ahead and pick this one up. Good reviews and you certainly can’t beat the price!
St. Nick’s Picks are back at Lands’ End
Hooray! It’s time for St. Nick’s Picks over at Lands’ End, one deeply-discounted item (or family of items) each day. Kick it off today with a variety of warm microfleece tops and accessories, plus savings on boots for the whole family!
Make it even better with coupon savings stacked on top of the markdown: use coupon code DRUMSTICK with PIN 1121 for another 30% off and free shipping. (These savings can be applied to items in the Overstocks or over on Canvas, too.)
Sing it with me: It’s the mooooost wonderful tiiiiime… of the yeeeear….
Black Friday at iFrogz: half off everything
Whether you need a new case for your favorite piece of tech or a set of headphones, iFrogz is the place to get something stylish and virtually indestructible. All this weekend, everything is half off, so now’s the time to get it.
(Here’s how indestructible: I bought both of my kids headphones during this sale about three years ago. Still going strong.)
Get paid to Fab today
Guess what! You’ll get $10 in credit just for logging on to Fab.com today, even if you’re already a member. For every $100 you spend, you’ll get another $10 in credit, too. (They have some beautiful bikes today, so if you were in the market for one of those you could easily rack up a ton of credit. Just sayin’.)
They’ve got a big Melissa & Doug boutique going today, among other things.
I have to say, I resisted Fab.com for a long time and now I’m hopelessly addicted. Their stuff is awesome.
[Hat tip: Cool Mom Picks, where I find out about most cool stuff.]
Black Friday at Barnes and Noble: Playmobil savings!
Gotta love it—on the main Barnes and Noble page, if you scroll down just a bit they have a link to 50% off any one educational toy or game, which includes all kinds of Playmobil sets that hardly ever go on sale.
If Playmobil’s not your thing, there’s plenty of other options, too. I’m off to shop….
