Looks like the clearance at Kohl’s was just marked down again, in addition to their regular “these are the biggest deals we’ve ever had!” markdowns on, um, just about everything.
Get your order up to $75 and receive free shipping, no code needed. And if you have a local Kohl’s, well then if you’re not up to $75 maybe you’ll throw in a couple of things to get it up there, and then return them to the store. Not that I’d suggest you do that. That would probably be wrong. Even though it would save you the ridiculous Kohl’s shipping charges.
If you’ve got a Kohl’s charge card, you can use coupon code OCTNEWCARD for an additional 15% off your order. Otherwise, I think NEW9829 works for everyone for 10% off.

Do you sell things on eBay? Today is $.20 listing day, where you pay just $.20 as your insertion fee on listings, regardless of starting price.
I wouldn’t run out and start selling things just to take advantage of this, but if you were planning on auctioning some stuff, already, today would be a good day to do it.

Today, October 25th, most U.S. McDonald’s restaurants are participating in a “Burger Day” promotion. (I’m not sure what the occasion is. Us being the fattest nation on the planet, maybe? Hooray!) I’m also not sure if Canada is participating.
Geez, I don’t seem to know much of anything.
What I do know is that participating restaurants are doing discounted hamburgers/ cheeseburgers, either $.49/$.59 or $.39/$.49. Not a bad time to make a fast-food run, particularly if you have a gaggle of kids.
Um, not right now, though. Later. For lunch, or maybe dinner. Just work on breakfast for right now. I’ll take a cup of coffee, for starters.

How timely; I was just noticing this morning that Lizard Skin Season seems to be arriving early this year….

Honestly, what did we play with when we were kids, before there was all manner of Big Plastic Objects? Oh, I know; we played with pots and pans and knives and guns, and we liked it. Right.
Anyway, if you’ve been considering a big plastic purchase for the anklebiter in your life, now’s the time.
First, receive free shipping at Little Tikes on your $200+ order with coupon code GHOL2295. Good through November 15th, 2006.
Next, there’s a special kitchen promo happening at Step2. Get free shipping on their three most popular kitchens through November 6th, 2006.
For the Grand Walk-In Kitchen use coupon code 6Grand. For the PartyTime Kitchen use coupon code party06. And for the Deluxe Kitchen use coupon code deluxe.
I am only a little depressed that these kitchens seem nicer than my actual kitchen….

Whether or not you plan to buy a house or a car or something else large in the near future, you should have a general idea of how your credit looks. When you sit down to refinance your mortgage is the wrong time to find out that your credit score leaves much to be desired.
There are multiple sites on the internet claiming to obtain your credit report for you for free but which ultimately charge you for the privilege. (”Oh, we did obtain the report for free. But if you want to see it, that’s gonna cost you extra!”) You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report once every year, and you should obtain it and look it over for problems or discrepancies. Online, you can use this site to query the three major credit agencies. Or you can call them directly; once a year, they have to issue you a report free of charge if you ask.
Once you have your report(s), here’s what to look for: (more…)

… here’s two deals that will sound eerily familiar:
Restaurant.com is at it again, so it’s time to stock up on dining certificates for your favorite restaurants. Use coupon code 44355 to take 60% off your order. Expires October 31st, 2006.
Meanwhile, over at batteries.com, you can use coupon code BOGO to receive any second item at 65% off, plus you’ll automatically get a free 8-pack of AA batteries. Expiration unknown on this one. This would be a great time to buy some of those more expensive things like laptop batteries, if you’re in the market.
Then you can surf the web for longer at your favorite restaurant, for less! Or not, because that’d be really geeky. Even for me.

Take $10 off your $30+ purchase - coupon code 444526768

If you’re one of those Spanx devotees, now would be a good time to pick some up. I, personally, do not understand the Spanx craze, other than that it is awfully fun to say… but there you are.

Heavens knows that I don’t have any blackheads, and neither do you, I’m certain. But just in case you know some poor soul who does, and you—I mean, they—want to try Noxzema’s Triple Clean Blackhead Cleanser, now you—I mean, they—can.
Oh, look over there. Something shiny!

Still need Winter boots? There are plenty to choose from in the Lands’ End Overstocks. Only two not-very-snow-y options show up for Men, but if you’re looking in Women or Kids you may be able to snag a deal.
Sizes and colors are limited, but that’s how it goes when things are that deeply discounted.
And if you live somewhere that doesn’t require snowboots, I don’t wanna hear about it. Hmph.
