If you’ve been reading me for any time at all, you know that I pretty much loathe rebates. I do my best to avoid deals that hinge on rebates, because I think most rebates end up never coming. However, I’ve had a few people tell me they haven’t had difficulty with rebates at Linens ‘N’ Things, so I am going to suspend my disbelief for this particular deal. I know this week has been a total wash for Want Not, and I really wanted to have a triumphant return by today, but instead I am going to visit my doctor and/or curl up in a little ball and die. I’m sorry I suck this week. On the up side, I have not coughed on you or otherwise shared my germs, so there’s that.
Here: Go buy yourself something pretty at the Amazon Friday Sale. That’ll make us all feel better.

… there are certainly some deals to be had. I, myself, could not be paid enough to venture into a mall today, but that’s me.
If you’re headed to Macy’s, you might want this 15% off savings pass. Consider it my small and inconsequential after-Christmas gift to you.
Oh, and Target is not only 50% off on Christmas stuff today, they’ve begun their annual toy clearance at most stores. Just in case your gift closet needs replenishing.

I know, I know; I said I was all done shopping. And I am. (Believe you me. I went shopping last night with someone who wasn’t yet done shopping *coughMENcough* and it reminded me of why I always finish shopping early—preferably from home, in my pajamas.)
But I was poking around and happened to come across this Combi stroller. Not only is it a great price at 35% off—because the Combis and Peg Peregos and other high-end strollers are almost never marked down—but it’s a really neat design. Sort of half-stroller, half-jogger. Highly maneuverable.
Anyway, ’tis a nice find if you’re in the market for such a thing. Now get off of the computer and go finish wrapping your presents.

I daresay today is the culmination of a frenzy of bargain-hunting and last-minute gift getting. Me, I’m done. Done. I’d like to take some time off from shopping and just, I don’t know, rest.
(But I would also like a maid and a billion dollars; sometimes we don’t get what we want.)
Anyway, I can’t skip the Amazon Friday Sale. I’m pretty sure that would be un-American. Besides, I flipped open the sale and beheld an omen.
That’s right. Right there—staring me in the face!—was the MIR scarf. (Hey, it’s cashmere!)
This looks interesting (great reviews and 56% off) especially for the post-sugarplum season. Nothing says “I had a merry Christmas” like shiny teeth! (Okay, that may have been reaching, just a little.)
There’s that Circulon set again, under $140 after coupon HOHOSAVE. I would tell you what I paid for my Circulon back in the day, but I don’t want to start crying. (Seriously? $140? That’s an insane deal.)
Anyway, poke around if you’re so inclined. Me, I have some wrapping to do….
