Grab up the deals for the kids

Need clothes for the kiddos? Run over to Children’s Place; they’ve just dropped the prices in the Outlet to 50% off.

Sizes and selection are limited, but if you shop quickly, you may yet find a few things for your little darlings. (I have an empty box sitting here from our last order, which came a couple of days ago.) Coupon code S1A48 is still working for 15% off your order, too. Run!

I ran so fast I missed the coupon code. But the website is taking so long, I came back to gaze lovingly at your site and saw the code and it wasn’t too late to use!
    Thank you!

    Awesome, Mir! You ROCK!

I scored 1 dress, 2 pair capri pants, 2 pair leggings, 5 shirts, and a pony tail holder all for $49 shipped! This made my day!

OMG! I have 4 tops, 1 dress,2 pairs shoes and a pair of bermuda shorts. also a 20% code for my daughters bday month. It will be $40 shipped. I don’t have my place card on me… but I suppose I could use another.

I filled up my basket and entered my code and had 10 things for $62 shipped and remembered that I left my purse (with all my credit cards) at home. So I will check when I get home although I imagine all the size 10 stuff will be gone by then. :(

Awesome! I just scored a hoodie, a church coat, a shirt, two pairs of pant, a pair of capris and two dresses for *each* of my twins (so double all that), for under $100 shipped! Now they have fall clothes and I’m a happy mama! Thanks Mir!

Score. School clothes. Cute, hard wearing stuff and if any of it doesn’t fit my son, I have lots of family and friends with little boys. Now that is some good gift closet stuff.

If only their site would cooperate for me :( I’ve been trying for 2 hours, on & off, to buy the 14 items in my bag & it’s being a pain!

Wow! Thanks Mir–both my kiddos will be stylin’. Although I’m so sad they don’t have the “I make a mess” tee for my son’s size when it originally showed as available.

For heaven’s sake! There goes 2 hours I’ll never get back. I’m not sure its worth it. Okay, it is, but sheesh!

that really is a very, very slooooooow web site — but what great bargains! 9 items for $40 shipped, even if they warn that shipping will be delayed due to “high volume.” From where, do we think??? Can’t beat it, and the stuff is so nice.

Ugh, I bought a bunch of stuff for the kids in future seasons, the day you posted this, and today got an email that said this:

We sincerely apologize that we were unable to fulfill the order due to technical difficulties with our website http://www.childrensplace.com. Because of overwhelming response to our sale, our website is experiencing technical issues and our fulfillment center is undergoing a delay in shipping. We are diligently working to resolve the issues affecting our website and fulfillment center, and hope to be functioning at full capacity very soon.

The Children’s Place values you as a customer, and we hope you will place your order with us again in the near future. We are including a shipping code for free standard shipping on your next order. Please accept this, along with our commitment to provide better service in the future.

    BAH!

I got the same message, and as I said above, it took me 2 hours to place the order as it is.

And for that I get a shipping code worth $5? Unacceptable.

Oy, what a nightmare. I placed an order that day, too, and haven’t gotten a cancellation (yet)?

Generally I have pretty good luck with TCP. One time my order just vanished — I never got a shipping notice and when I looked, it had disappeared from my history — but other than that, no problems. I’m sorry that some of you have had such an unpleasant experience. :(

Yes, I’ve had good luck with them, and gotten other great deals in the past. I’m just frustrated that I didn’t head to the mall because I did so well online, and now that’s kaput. There will be more sales between now and next summer, though. :)

    Update:
I went back to the site today (April 30) to check out my order status, which is in process, with a big red warning that shipping is delayed due to high volume. So, I checked out their outlet for a baby gift with matching big sister outfit. The site is operating lickety split, and (wait for it!) the code still works! Two complete outfits, shipped using their cool newborn gift wrap in a basket, all for $30. So, go back is what I’m sayin’ here.

[...] Isn’t this little sundress cute? It reminds me of Hanna Anderson, BUT it’s only $4.99 at The Children’s Place! They’re having a big sale and you can use the coupon code S1A48 for 15% off your order. (Hat tip: Want Not.) [...]
