All the batteries you need

Rechargeable batteries are so last year. Apparently they have an issue with self-discharge, which sounds to me like a personal problem, but I guess has to do with how long they can hold a charge when not in use. But Sanyo’s Eneloop batteries avoids this problem with superior technology. Or pixie dust. I’m not really sure, but then again, I don’t care how they do it, just that they do it.

So check out this fabulous deal: Buy the Eneloop Travel Power Pack at Amazon for just $19.95. You get the charger, 2 AAAs and 4 AAs. The batteries hold a charge longer than any rechargeables you already own, plus they work right out of the box. But perhaps the best part? They come with spacers that allow you to combine the smaller batteries to be used just like a conventional C or D battery—which means you have all of your battery needs met right here in this set.

The fact that it’s 60% off is just the icing on the cake, no?

  1. I love eneloop batteries! I got a big set of them at Costco, and they recharge perfectly in my Duracell-brand charger.

  2. These are AWESOME. I bought this same set a couple of months ago (for $30 from Amazon – $50 is a bit of a stretch for the “regular” price).

We use the AAs in our Wii controllers and they work great and last a long time compared to regular rechargeables.

The AAAs work nicely in my wireless mouse too. I haven’t tried the C/D adapters but they seem pretty cool.

I just might buy another set…

  3. Thanks Mir! My husband checked his geek sites and decided these were the highest rated rechargeables…definitely will use them in the Wiimotes.

  4. I should never stray. I JUST bought a recharger and batteries for $30 TWO days ago. I don’t know why I thought for a second I could do it without you.

  5. This is the coolest thing. Thanks Mir.

  6. Yea! I’ve had these on my wish list for months waiting for the price to come down a little! Thanks for the heads up!

  7. I am seriously scared, I have been looking at rechargeables since our three-years-old ones apparently DIED and was about to give up on finding any that were affordable. YOU ARE PSYCHIC. YOU READ MY MIND THROUGH THE COMPUTER AND THE TUBESSSSSS.

Thank you for the tip, AGAIN, you are the shopping queen.

  8. Ooooh, I’ve been wanting those!
