Essential reading

I’m sorry, but if you don’t have a copy of The Essential Calvin and Hobbes in your house right now, you have to buy it. I’m pretty sure it’s a law. Especially when it’s marked down to just $7.27 (its lowest price ever!) and—if you haven’t used it yet—you can apply coupon code HOLIDAY30 for another 30% off, making it just over $5. Where else can you spend $5 and get this kind of joy??

Go. Get it before the price goes back up.

  1. I’m on it.

  2. just wondering if you know how often Amazon offers Prime for $79? I’ve been using free trials waiting for it but wondering if I just need to take the plunge and spend the $99 now?

    • I don’t feel like there’s any discernible pattern to it—it felt like they’d completely stopped offering it and then suddenly there was another promotion, so… I don’t know. Sorry! (I just pay the $99; I figure I’m more than getting my money’s worth out of it.)
