Hey – I wasn’t the only one who noticed that you’re moving off the special list. I’m doubly lucky – I’m on the list AND in my part of the state we can buy liquor on Sundays. Beer/wine is only allowed in some special grocery stores. Though I can get my prescription painkillers with some wine to wash it down in the same pharmacy.
I don’t have much of a choice as to where I live, unfortunately…and it seems that the Army likes to send me to states where I can’t buy alcohol over the internet…Georgia…Kansas…what’s next?
I did that once upon a time – I thought the wine was mediocre and we never figured out how the corkscrew worked (though it did make an impressive Christmas present for my father).
