What a coincidence… I am enjoying a nice cup of tea right now!
Have you ever had PG Tips? I spent one semester abroad, in college, where I majored in complaining about the rain in London, going to the theater, and drinking PG Tips. I returned home with a suitcase stuffed to the brim with teabags, well and fully hooked. You can buy it here in the US but it’s generally quite expensive.
Ready for a lot of tea? If you want 640 PG Tips teabags, right now it’s on sale at Amazon for $30 with free shipping. Plus you can take off another $10 with coupon code PGTIPS55. I’m not sure you can buy that nasty Lipton stuff this cheap.
[Edited to add: Of course, the one I linked to is now sold out. Don’t worry! The coupon works on other eligible PG Tips products, too, though of course the one I linked was the best deal. If you love this tea, though, just get your PG Tips total up to $29+ to use the coupon.]
I prefer Tetley, myself. I have some PG Tips in my cabinet…somewhere. I actually brought it back from England a year ago, funny that.
All gone 🙁
My mother in law sends me Tetley regularly so I won’t run out (spent a year in England studying the same as you did and um, kinda found husband there, oops!).
Nothing like PG Tips. My husband, the English ex-pat, gets a big box in his Christmas stocking every year.
