Apparently Radiohead has decided to let people name their own price for downloading their latest album, and that includes naming $0 as your price.

Here is where you should insert the standard disclaimer about how if you really like their music and want to support them, you should pay for it. However, free is free. Go here and keep clicking through to the download.

(If you have no idea what I’m talking about but you have a teen with an iPod, you may be able to score yourself some cool points with this one.)

  1. luckily, most bands make their cashola off of tour stops and merch sales AT those tour stops. so, it’s all gravy.

i go SEE bands i like. granted, it costs a fortune sometimes, but the live experience is so worth it (well, after the sting of the ticket price has worn off)

anywho, i shall attempt this linkie later. either the page is dead, or my work firewall has made it seem so. lol.

  2. I’ve been told that entering $0 doesn’t work, but $1 does.

  3. You actually have to pay a credit/debit card fee which amounts to about $1 US. I see you didn’t take advantage of this, Mir. What, not a Radiohead fan?? 😉

  4. Andrea/Lou: It worked for free (no credit number needed) this morning. Anyone who wants the zip file, email me and I’ll mail it to you.
