Kiss your chapped lips goodbye

I’ve tried a number of fancy moisturizers and lip glosses, and I always keep coming back to the same product: Aquafor. Yep, Aquafor.

It has the added side benefit of being useful for all of those “boo-boos” the kids come by demanding to have treated. You know the ones—the ones that hurt and/or involve a little scrape, but for which the antibiotic ointment would be overkill? Yeah. Great for those, too. (Chapstick, not so much.)

Go get some for free; the sample size is perfect for your purse.

  1. Pretty, pretty Mir!!!

  2. Ooh perfect – that stuff is great! Thanks, Mir.

  3. Ohhh! Free is good!! 🙂 Thanks!

  4. Thank you so much!

  5. Awesome! Thanks.

  6. This stuff is AWESOME. My OB gave it to me for chapped nipples after my son was born, and then off-handedly said, “It’s great for chapped lips, too!”, which was kinda weird… but he was right!

  7. Ooohhh, free sample! The best way to try something new. Thanks for the heads-up, Mir!

  8. Cool, thanks Mir!

  9. I’m not familiar with this stuff, but it sounds great!

  10. Aquaphor has saved my son’s butt (bad diaper rash) MANY times. I carry it with me everywhere!

  11. Awesome for diaper rashes too! So much better than the diaper rash ointment, cleared up a nasty one that every other ointment wouldn’t touch!

  12. I’m all for this, but please don’t have lips and baby bottoms in the same thought! 🙂

  13. I really dig Aquaphor. I call it my Windex. You got something wrong? Have some ointment. (Remember My Big Fat Greek Wedding, where the father used Windex for everything?) I carry the little size in my purse for lips, owies, bad cuticles, and hand cream emergencies. Even though it’s petroleum based it doesn’t smell like vaseline. Oh, Aquaphor. How lived so long without it, I’ll never know.

  14. Did you know that marathoners use it, too? I put it on my feet to prevent blisters. Great stuff.

  15. I’m a die-hard Burt’s Bees fan (clarinetist, and it healed an internal lip blister the DAY before a major concert), but Aquaphor’s versatility sounds interesting.

  16. Aquaphor kicks for diaper rash too!!!
