The good, the bad, and the gentle

The good: The gigantic Semi-Annual Sale at Bath and Body Works is on! Anti-bacterial soaps are 5 for $15 or 7 for $20! Aromatherapy is buy 2, get 2 free! And other stuff!

The bad: I can’t seem to find any coupons to sweeten the deal. And their shipping starts at $6, so if you have a local store you may be better off going there.

The gentle: Although I find some of the BBW scents completely overwhelming, many of them are not. (And lord knows there’s plenty from which to choose!) But I just want to point out that the gentle foaming hand soaps really are gentle; I discovered years ago that they were one of the only hand soap products that didn’t irritate my kids’ delicate winter skin. (Now we live in the south and it’s sort of a moot point, but I still buy it because I like it. But only when it’s on sale.)

  1. I like their foaming hand soaps, too. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my colleagues a few years ago; spread the love. 🙂

  2. Ok, so I broke down and went to the store today to AVOID the shipping charges — only to find I’d walked into 75% off heaven.

Um, I fell down in the store and swiped my credit card on the way down. In all fairness, I’ve not shopped there in YEARS in favor of cheaper bath products from Target — and these prices came damn close — um, $2.50 per LARGE body wash! Um…Um…

So, I’ve now got a year’s worth, and perhaps a few gifts for the gift closet — if I’m willing to share. (I may justify not sharing because giving soap seems all like “oh, hopefully this will make you smell better.”
