Pampered Chef at less-pampered prices

As anyone who knows me is well aware, I rather loathe the whole home-party paradigm. The pressure! The prices! It’s just not my style.

Nevertheless—because I have friends who don’t share my aversion to these things—I own various “home party” items, and some of them I really, really like. I just don’t like the selling technique.

Well, it turns out that you can buy clearance Pampered Chef items online, which is pretty much shopping nirvana, right there. The prices are reasonable, and you don’t have to chit-chat with a consultant while you make your purchases. Perfect!

Also, I’m here to tell you that I use my Pampered Chef kitchen shears for everything—they cut through chicken and plastic with equal ease—and my Pampered Chef pizza cutter is the best one I’ve ever owned. If you’re considering either of those, I say absolutely go for it. (Especially the shears! So cheap!)

  1. I second the pizza cutter — and the fact that it has a nice sturdy cover means that I don’t cut myself on it when I reach into the drawer.

  2. Oh my sweet baby Jesse. I had no idea you could buy Pampered Chef online! I love you, Mir. Really love you.

  3. I have been wanting both of those for a long long time… Thanks Mir!! You rock!

  4. I have to recommend the Mini Serving Spatula. In addition to its food related purposes, it can also be used for scraping crayon marks and other crud off car windows.

  5. When i can’t find my outside snippers to cut back plants, etc., I use my Pampered Chef kitchen shears. They work great and stay sharp.

  6. I hate the home-party sales too! Make money by overcharging your friends/family, what a great sales model.

    But this…clearance…online…what’s not to love?

  7. Oh my. I’ll have to go check it out! I LOVE my PC vegetable peelers – sounds crazy, but they are great because you can go back and forth with them to peel faster. I’m also very fond of my pizza stone for reheating lots of stuff.

  8. I love their products, even as I dislike the home party pressure scene. Strangest use of Pampered Chef I’ve seen: My autistic child likes the utensils for fidget tools. I once found a spatula in his civics folder for school.
