For your little handyman

I suddenly wish I had a little(r) boy to give this to, as I’m sucker for this sort of thing—check out this Tonka wooden workbench at eToys. Part of the fun is assembling it! And afterwards it provides hours of imaginative building play.

And $19.99 shipped, with two wooden vehicles included as well? That’s just nuts. Consider this one Santa-approved.

  1. It says ages 8-10. Maybe Monkey would like it?

  2. It’s quite small — while a kid that age might enjoy building it, I can’t see a kid that age actually playing with it. I’d buy it more for the 5-7 range, personally.

  3. I love that I have all my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. Then there’s this conversation:
“Hmmm. Would one more present be overdoing it?”
    “Yes, it would.”
Still, it’s Christmas. One more present.”
“NO, NO, don’t you hit that ‘confirm order’ button!”
“Don’t you want to see his little face when he opens this???”
“HE DOESN’T NEED ANY MORE STUFF!”
“You are a total grinch. How do you stand yourself?”

The scary thing is — there’s no one here but me.

  4. I don’t see the link. I have a 6yo and would love to see if it would be good for him.

  5. My daughter will love this!

  6. I don’t see a link either…

  7. 🙂 Half the time you mention something for “little boys”, I think, “Ooh, my niece would love that!”

  8. My hubby wanted to order this for our 18 month old boy…but is now thinking that our 4 and 6 year old girls are going to love playing with this also…or maybe its just him that really wants it..;-)
