‘Tis the season for great bundle deals on all sorts of wonderful little gadgets, and today one of those awesome finds is the Kodak EasyShare Z1085IS at Best Buy. It’s a 10-megapixel, 5x zoom point-and-click camera with image stabilization, and not only is it marked down to $99.99 with free shipping (see reduced price once you add it to your cart), you’ll get a 4GB memory card for free with it and be eligible for $50 off a companion printer, if you like.
For comparison, the same camera (without the memory card) is currently $185 at Amazon.
That’s my kind of deal. If I wasn’t married to a photographer with a closet full of cameras, anyway.
My son just told me yesterday that he would like a digital camera for Xmas. Welllll….OK then!
Caution – I’ve been very happy with the EasyShare 5100 printer, but extremely disappointed with my EasyShare camera. The video function is almost unusable, as there is a constant ticking noise as the light meter readjusts. The timer function is annoyingly set up and just … not a great camera, IMHO.
Rebecca: There are about a zillion different EasyShare cameras. Do you have this same model? I checked the reviews before posting, as I try not to link stuff (no matter how good the deal) if it’s an inferior product. But if you’ve had that experience with this exact model, please do let us know.
