I’ve become obsessed with flat-screen HDTVs.
Maybe it’s because the Super Bowl is coming up, or maybe it’s because I know I’m too cheap to buy one until our television up and dies, but either way, I’m scouting them out. For you. Because I care.
Today’s Woot is a refurbished 42″ Philips LCD HDTV for $649.99 (and $5 shipping). The same television, new is about $1500 at Amazon right now, with great reviews.

Well, now I’m feeling a little bad for you, Mir. I thought we were late getting one of these. Don’t have an ipod or Wii yet, but I’m watching for a Wii – yea, I just called Hubby about the one listed above, but couldn’t get him to commit. Yet.
