In case you missed the last one

I hope a lot of you were able to get in on the recent deal on Ergo backpacks at Lands’ End; my kids haven’t stopped raving about theirs since they arrived. I guess they’re a lot more comfortable than their previous 10-ton rolling bags. Heh. (It looks like the Ergos are now sold out; there are lots of other packs on sale, though, if that’s what you’re needing.)

You may have noticed, though, that the free shipping code from that post has expired. No worries! I’ve got you covered: Through February 21st, 2009, ship any Lands’ End order for free with code SUNLIFE and PIN 6365.

Now that I’m done shopping for the kids, I think I deserve a little something for me, no…?

  1. i’m trying the code and pin with no luck…has anyone been able to use it?

  2. Not working for me either 🙁

  3. Should be all fixed now, folks. Sorry for the delay.

  4. Thanks for the heads up on the last deal. The backpack I ordered just arrived yesterday. I showed it to my son (he’s only 3, so it’s for when he’s a little bigger) and he was not impressed because it was not covered in Thomas the Tank Engine or some Noggin character. My husband and I were like “Look! It has a ‘D’ on it! For Doodlebug[Insert real name]!” He came back with: “No! ‘D’ is for David[a kid at daycare]!” I’m hoping he will appreciate it when he gets older 😐

  5. The backpacks are still there! I found them by going to their overstock section. Just ordered 2 for my kiddos – YAY!!

  6. I got some for my 3 and 5 year old. Like beanery’s son, my 3 year old was not impressed because it didn’t have Lightening McQueen on it. I told him we’d buy a patch and sew it on. 🙂 And Mir, I did manage to pick out a few things for myself at the same time too!

  7. I totally got in on that deal, and ordered one for my 5 y.o. daughter, who will be going to kindergarten in the fall [wipes away a tear], and also one for my 18-month-old son, who is not going to school anytime soon but will someday and who in the meantime wants everything his big sister has.

We haven’t gotten ours yet (the mail takes Forever and A Day to get here), but when I showed my daughter the picture of the bright blue backpack (‘Cinderella blue’, I called it) she wasn’t happy. Oh well. She’ll use it and she’ll like it!

  8. Thanks for the free shipping code! Just ordered my husband a new winter coat, and a baby gift for an expecting friend (they have adorable duck washcloths w/ toy & a hooded towel – $16 all in, and it’s a great gift!).
