Get there without getting lost

Y’all know how much I love life with a GPS unit in my car. In fact, I love it so much, I feel moved to express myself in haiku:
Wondrous GPS—
You prevent me from swearing;
I arrive on time.

I know you want this sort of inspiration, yourself. (Really, who wouldn’t?) But maybe you don’t have $100+ to blow on a GPS. How about $59.99? Do you have that? If you do, check out the Magellan Maestro 3200* today at Buy.com. It’s got plenty of great reviews over at Amazon, but costs way less (and ships for free).

This is not a unit that does Text-To-Speech (meaning it doesn’t speak street names), so don’t buy it if you’re looking for that. But if you want a well-regarded, basic GPS unit, for an awesome price? I can’t see how you’d go wrong with this one.

*Mad haiku skillz not included.

  1. not related to this post…but there’s a woot off again today.

  2. Wow. This is a GREAT deal. I have a Magellan, can’t remember which model but it does have the text to speech feature (the 3250 maybe?), and I LOVE it. Mir is right, you cannot go wrong with this more than excellent value.

  3. I just got it for $29.99 – (as I got a buy credit card for $30 off!). Way exciting! I only need it for ~6 months anyway – that works out as $5/month to not get lost? yes!

  4. I picked one up! Can’t beat the price. Thanks!

  5. GAHHHHHH I MISSED ITTTTTT
    it’s sold out.
