Okay, I know you’re tired of listening to me wax prosaic about shoes, but there are just so many shoes out there that make my heart sing. I can’t help it.
And today all J41 shoes at just $19.95 at 6pm.com, and I need several of them. They’re adorable. I’ve never even heard of J41 before, but that’s probably only because I cannot afford them at regular price.
But for under $20 a pair? Well, I’ll try to just pick one. Or two. Okay, three, tops. Stop looking at me.
You can “never be too rich, too thin or own too many pairs of shoes.” Since the first two aren’t happening here any time soon, thank you for fulfilling the third. Love, love this blog.

Amy: Look at the description of any shoe you’re interested in. A few of the styles do have a note that you should order a half size up or down, but the rest are (supposedly) true to size. Hope that helps!
Okay, people, April 1st is making me feel sassy—I ordered the Rapids in orange/red. They’re gonna be able to see my shoes from space.

I completely understand about J-41. I love them, too. I got my email this morning and went straight to the site. Then posted about it on Twitter. And then went back to the site.
J-41s are some comfy, well made shoes. I wore the exclusively for urban hiking around NYC last year and plan to do the same thing with the same pair of shoes in NYC next week!
Dang, I was all set to order some cute ones, but the note about them running half a size small stopped me. When you wear a size 11, ordering half a size up isn’t an option.

Hmm…does it make me a skinflint when after I get shoes for $20 which will last me for YEARS I balk at paying $30 for kids shoes that they will outgrow in 2 months????
