Another way to stock the pantry

When I cruise Amazon for grocery deals, I always look for something that’s already been marked down, and then has some sort of special offer running on top of that. When a discount allows you to combine different kinds of foods, so much the better. But I have to confess that—as much as I dig this deal—I’m mystified. For some reason, right now at Amazon if you buy $29+ worth of qualifying Ka-Me or Mi-del foods, you can use coupon code PANOS555 to save an additional $10. (Don’t forget that Subscribe & Save, when available, will save you another 15%, too. So, for example, these 100% whole wheat graham crackers are just $22.64 delivered for 12 boxes, which is a significant savings off of regular retail.)

Are these two brands owned by the same company? I guess they must be. I just find the combination of natural snacks and Asian convenience foods a bit odd. But I’ll take the deals! (Pssst—if you’re unfamiliar with Mi-Del, they make a lot of gluten-free snacks. They’re a great brand for those of you with celiac.)

Enjoy your, um, noodles and cookies.

  1. Glad to know you just lost power for a few hours – I just turned on the weather channel and was worrying about you!

Asian convenience foods . . you see some really interesting ones if you ever shop at an asian market! Though I may actually try the green bean popsicles next time I see them.
    😀

  2. Those Mi-del gluten free ginger snaps are really good, too.
