If you’re looking for a regular ol’ bucket of Lego, you could do a lot worse than this Ultimate Building Set of 405 pieces for $20 from Amazon. It ships for free with Prime, or get your order up to $25 for Free Super Saver Shipping.
It’s probably about time for me to buy another one of these. I suspect that approximately 300 pieces of the one I bought for my son a few years ago have since been vacuumed up.
FYI, I got this very bucket yesterday at Walmart for $19.97. It was supposed to be a Chrismtas present, but apparently my secret hiding place isn’t so secret after all.
My son and his friends have recently gotten back into Legos in a big way. At least half of our collection were the childhood toys of my nephew, who is now 23. Legos are truly timeless.
What a great gift! I tried to buy two, but they said there was a limit of one. So my husband bought one, too!
thank you! legos were on the list for my 4 year old. 🙂
Awesome! Thanks! I prefer to order from Amazon this way I can just put the box in the closet. No cahnce of peeking through the box!
Amazon has a special offer now with these: “Spend $25 or more in the Amazon.com Toys Store in a single purchase and you can get a 1-year subscription to one of the following magazines: Parenting Early Years or Parenting School Years (a $9.97 value) included with your purchase. Click here for full offer and refund details (restrictions apply).”
Does this mean we could opt out of the magazine and get the $9.97 refund?
Katie, that’s correct. You can submit for a refund and get the $10ish back. 🙂
There’s also a K’Nex vlaue tub of 400 pieces for $14…and K’Nex is manufactured in the USA.
