Have you done your holiday cards?

I ordered our Christmas cards last night. I’m kind of on a 2-year cycle; I do cards one year, and then the next year I forget (whoops), and the following year I realize I missed the last year and better get cracking again. It seems to be working out okay.

There are lots of places to get great holiday cards, but I have to say that by far the cheapest option I’ve found (that still gives a decent-quality card) is Vistaprint. I’ve used them several times and always been happy, and the cards I ordered last night are printed on both sides and even with upgraded shipping, I was still looking at only about $.50/card for what I chose (and that included envelopes and return labels, too). That’s pretty hard to beat.

Supposedly they had a Cyber Monday special that’s over now, but I’m not sure… looks like the cut-rate prices are still in effect.

They take Paypal, too. I pink puffy heart Paypal.

  1. Hmmmm….This would involve getting the kids together for a picture. Am I up for the challenge????

  2. Thanks, Mir! That was on my to-do list this week, and I’m so relieved to have it done.

  3. I’ve noticed that a lot more online retailers are offering PayPal. I pink puffy heart them also 😀

  4. I ordered mine through Walgreen’s yesterday. They had a 33% off coupon code for “photo gifts” and apparently Xmas cards qualify as “photo gifts” (who knew!). Not sure if it’s still good, but I used JOY33 and got forty 4×8 photo cards for about $18. Did in-store pick-up and got them a few hours later. Fast, easy, and cheap. Can’t beat that.

  5. I ordered mine through vista print too. You absolutely can’t beat the quality and convenience. I always choose the slowest shipping option which always keeps the price down even more. I opted for the free return address labels with my purchase too. I LOVE my cards. They came out beautifully. Thanks Mir for bringing vistaprint to my attention in the first place!

  6. I paid the pretty penny that Tiny Prints charges, but I LOVE them and they’ve had good deals this year.

I hope they look as good in person as they do online!

  7. I get mine at Costco and for members i highly recommend it! 50 cards with envelopes for 14.99 with additional cards available in packs of 25. They have good quality, wide assortment of designs and are ready in an hour!

  8. Thanks, Mir. You really can’t beat Vista Print’s prices, although the shipping charges and costs are annoying (I paid almost as much in shipping as for the cards themselves). Also annoying is the inability to order anything between 100 and 250 cards! My list is about 120 and I’m frustrated there every year.

  9. I love paypal too! I sort of hate it though because it is sooooo easy to spend all of my money!

  10. I got 50 FREE cards from Seehere.com!!! It includes envelopes and I just had to pay a tad over $3 for shipping 🙂 The promotion ended on Nov. 30th as far as I know, but I was happy to get them for FREE!

  11. here I was so smug and done with my vista print cards done 2 weeks ago…I guess 50% off isn’t such a deal anymore:(
