I remember when we received Planet Earth on DVD as a holiday gift, a couple years back. It felt like we were the last people on the planet to finally see it, and when we did, the entire family was just entranced. It’s incredible.

It is an amazing series. We decided to get the HD on itunes even though we don’t have a blue ray player or hd monitor. That way when we did we wouldn’t be tempted to re purchase. We’ve watched it in HD and it is incredible.

Thanks for the info. I got the regular DVD set since we don’t have a Blu-Ray. My daughter has been wanting these and I have never seen them so I am excited.
