Today is National Pancake Day, which means that IHOP is offering free short stacks from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Now, it’s a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network—a worthy cause, I think you’ll agree—so don’t just eat your free pancakes and bolt, but still, it’s kind of a fun way to break up the week, eat something yummy, and make a donation to a great organization.

We went around 10:30am and only waited 10 minutes or so. My IHOP was raising money for the Shriner Children’s Hospital, so they had a couple of the Shriner circus clowns, who made balloon animals, and they somehow got a person to dress up as Donald Duck. The kids got the free pancakes and had fun, and I made a donation to a great cause on my way out the door.
We went at 6pm and didn’t wait at all. 7 of us all got free pancakes and we contributed to the worthy cause. YUM
