Got earbuds?

If you need some new earbuds but are ready to step up from the middlin’ ones that come standard with your iPod, check out the current headphone deals at Amazon. There are some pretty nice noise-isolating options marked way down, plus there’s a pair of cute Skullcandy buds for just $5. (Reviews aren’t stellar on those, but for $5 and your kid’s gratitude, do you care?)

Me, I’m still trying to find the right headphones for my weird earbud-rejecting ears. Maybe I need to get a set with those hangers to keep ’em on.

  1. The JBUDS listed there are not actually EVER 79.00 – or anywhere close to that. They are typically around 10-20.00…so that is in line with normal pricing. Odd Amazon is listing them so high as an original price. They are not bad for earbuds though.

  2. I can never find earbuds that work in my ears. Glad to hear someone else has the same problem. I’m off to Amazon to try to find a pair that will work!

  3. All you “can’t find earbuds that fit” folks, consider this: http://tinyurl.com/y9u7cgo. Under $5 at Walmart. I powerwalk, do yardwork, and many other things. They work great. Stay put *and* do not hurt my tender ears:-)

  4. I finally had to switch to more traditional (albeit small and light-weight) headphones like Linda M’s suggestion. I tried 6 different brands of earbuds and none of them worked. Even the kind with the hooks would keep popping out or sliding off.

  5. I had the same problem until I bought some little foam covers for the earbuds that came with my ipod. Now they stay in. 🙂

  6. I have had these for around a year. I love them. They come with three different sizes of silicone ear thingies, and I use the smallest size. They block out noise, and are really comfortable. Also, I paid $40 for my pair at staples, so twenty? After shipping? Great deal.
