Despite my love of cheap price tags, there are certain areas in which one simply cannot cheap out. One of those areas is skin care; the older I get, the more I realize the value of taking good care of my skin. (Note to self: Build time machine, travel back to the days of “laying out to get a good base color,” and punch young self in face.)

Actually Mir, some of the “cheap” skin care products are just as effective as the more expensive ones. Check out http://www.beautybrains.org for more info. (a blog run by cosmetic scientists) about studies that have been done comparing products. Now, makeup, on the other hand, I find to be very different b/twn cheap and expensive brands (other than mascara).
