oh man, oh man… i’ve got just about that exact amount in birthday money, just chilling. i still can’t get over having to buy books — i use our library a bunch and have been trying to not buy books.
Amazon has a TON of free books that are really excellent. I grab them while they are free and can always delete them if they are horrible. 🙂

well, i caved before it sold out. i’m kinda glad i just bought instead of overthinking it! i’ve got the kindle app on my itouch, which i’ve used a handful of times (and i have found quite a few great freebies on amazon — thanks for reminding me, sagey!), but the screen was so little it made my eyes buggy. i’ve wanted a kindle since they first came out. i’m geeked, but still wary of the cost of books. oh well, at least i got the kindle on the cheap! thanks, as always, mir! 🙂

Refurbished is a GREAT way to go! 🙂 I purchased a refurbished MP3 Player for my tween daughter and didn’t even tell her…she still doesn’t know the difference, but my checkbook sure does! UPS just delivered the refurbished GPS Navigator that I ordered from Amazon…I can’t wait to play with my new toy! And knowing the terrific price I got it for makes me more anxious to see if it’s everything I hope it is! Keep your fingers crossed for me. 🙂
